Bad things started happening after trying to switch to OAuth option for Glean actions

Question

We were originally on DWD option and google actions were working.

I was trying to get the google slide action working and the support bot told me to switch to OAuth option + Central (given we are Glean hosted).

But once I changed it my existing Glean agents that used Google actions all started failing with this error.

I also don't seem to be able to go back to the DWD option anymore. Please help me get unstuck.

Also is the notion correct that there are "new Google actions" that require OAuth User authentication and not DWD?

Generally confused and when I ask for human help I get the dreaded response that actually never connects to anyone.

Please help.

Thanks! I reverted for now. Any idea when the Google verification will come through? How can I find out ?

Hey @vivekgarud - the central app is still under verified by Google. Meanwhile you should be able to use custom oAuth or shift back to DWD(you mentioned you aren't able to switch back to DWD so please raise a support ticket as this is not an expected behavior)

Alternatively you can workaround by allowing glean centra app by following below steps -

Add the Glean central Google app client ID [http://962899651204-i1uk8vemhebrchet5fo35mpluvg6ts08.apps.googleusercontent.com] in Security -> Access and Data Control > API Controls + Manage App Access in their GCP admin console for their organization.
