As a Glean admin, I have two related but currently unsolvable governance challenges around model usage:

 Flex credits are pooled at the org level with no ability to set individual caps. Right now, my only lever is removing premium model access entirely for everyone — which is a blunt instrument. What I actually want is something like: 

"Each user gets the equivalent of one Opus run per day."

 Without per-user pools, I have no way to let individuals experiment with premium models while protecting against a single power user burning through the org's shared budget. 

 The Insights dashboard is genuinely excellent — I can see top users, data sources, and agent runs by department. But I can't see 

 each user is running. This creates a blind spot: I know 

 someone is using Glean heavily, but I don't know if they're hitting Opus on every query. Without that visibility, cost forecasting and governance conversations with leadership are difficult to back up with data. 

A per-user (or per-group/department) flex credit allocation setting, so admins can distribute budgets rather than manage one shared pool 

Model-level breakdown in the Insights dashboard — ideally filterable by user, department, and time range 

These two features together would give admins the precision to 

 premium model use where it's warranted, rather than having to restrict it across the board out of cost uncertainty.

Any admin trying to balance broad AI adoption with responsible cost governance — especially in orgs where different teams have very different use case intensities.

Would love to know if other admins are running into this. Is anyone working around it creatively?
