 Currently, Glean maps the selected Okta field and uses the raw string value for department (with some first-letter capitalization normalization). This results in camelCase values like "BrandMarketing" appearing in the org chart and user profiles instead of the human-readable display name ("Brand Marketing").

Okta supports both a raw value and a display name/label for profile attributes. It would be significantly better UX if Glean could pull the display name instead of the raw string value — or at minimum offer a setting to swap in the display label.

CamelCase department names are an industry standard on the IdP/SCIM side for machine readability, but end users interacting with the org chart expect to see properly formatted, readable labels. As-is, the org chart reads as cosmetically rough and reflects poorly on the directory experience for the whole org.

 When mapping an Okta field to the Glean department attribute, use the field's display name/label rather than the raw string value.
