 in the Admin Console are not currently captured in the audit trail. This creates a gap in admin visibility and makes it difficult to understand who changed a tool setting, when the change happened, and what was changed.

During a recent support investigation, a tool configuration change was confirmed, but the action did not appear in the Admin Console audit log. The customer expectation is that tool-setting changes should have the same auditability as other administrative actions and that admins should have a running historical log rather than only the current state or last-updated view.

Add audit trail coverage for configuration changes made under 

At minimum, each audit event should capture:

Action type (enabled, disabled, updated, access changed, etc.)

Relevant scope, if applicable (workspace-wide, user group, deployment, etc.)

An admin disables or updates a tool-related setting such as web search visibility. That change should appear in the audit trail so support teams and customer admins can confirm:

Improves auditability for security and governance reviews

Reduces time spent during support investigations and root cause analysis

Helps admins validate that requested configuration changes were actually applied

Brings Tools settings closer to expected parity with other Admin Console actions

 generate audit trail events automatically

Events are visible in the existing Admin Console audit log experience

Events include the key metadata needed to identify who changed what and when

Common tool actions such as enable/disable, visibility changes, and configuration updates are covered

No historical backfill is required for this initial version
