Today, HTML dashboards are primarily visual and cannot write changes back to their underlying source. It would be valuable if an HTML dashboard—or the agent behind it—could write user-driven updates back to the connected Excel spreadsheet or other data source, such as changing rows or columns based on user inputs or conversations.

This would support a common workflow where users can interact with an HTML dashboard and update the source data without manually maintaining a separate file. Ideally, this capability would include appropriate permissions and controls for the connected data source.

This would be a totally excellent thing for the platform and a really common workflow.
