For a datasource (custom or native but mainly custom) it would be nice if it was possible to specify an expiry date when indexing a document on which glean would delete it.

For some data requiring GDPR compliance, records older than 2 years should be encrypted/deleted and with this feature it would make it quite easy to support this on custom data sources as well since most native connectors somehow support this.

This would also reduce storage cost on on-prem instances.
