Glean now supports GPT-5 in our model hub

Hey community! Glean now supports GPT-5 in our model hub.

All Glean customers can explore GPT-5 with Agents and directly compare its performance to other leading models, including o3, GPT-4.1, Sonnet 4, Llama 4, Gemini 2.5 Pro, Gemini 2.5 Flash, and more.

You can leverage GPT-5 with the full context of your enterprise data and the Agents you’ve already built on Glean.

The model is deployed to customers on a rolling basis, meaning some of you may not see it until this evening. If you’re using the Glean universal model key, simply add OpenAI as a model provider to access GPT-5. For more details on performance, check out our blog post.

Thanks! Do you know if there are plans to use it for the default assistant? I understand that thorough testing needs to be done.

Appreciate the interest! We’re running a more thorough evaluation of GPT-5 now. If it passes testing, we aim to roll it out to customers within the next month or so. We’d also release it alongside larger updates to our agentic reasoning engine, so customers see a more meaningful performance improvement from GPT-5.

Is there any update here? Anecdotally, we've observed a significant improvement in agent responses when using GPT-5.
