We would like to request that the current 8,000-character limit for glean agent steps both for manual input in the agent step(eg. think or response) and for automatic handoffs between steps be increased or made configurable.
Our workflows often involve analyzing large datasets such as multi-day email batches, long documents, and extensive Company Search outputs. These commonly exceed 8,000 characters, and the current limit prevents end-to-end processing in a single agent flow.
Requested enhancements:
- Increase the per-step character limit, or provide a configurable limit that admins can adjust based on their use case.
This capability is essential for supporting real-world enterprise analysis scenarios that involve high-volume content.
