Use our indexing API to add a custom data source! Our API reference is super handy for this:

Set Up Authentication: First, authenticate using your Glean credentials to ensure you have the necessary permissions to interact with the API (you may need to create an API token for yourself in the Glean admin console).
Create the Data Source:
- You can create a data source via the /adddatasource endpoint of the indexing API.
Add Documents to the Data Source:
- Use the /bulkindexdocuments endpoint to add multiple documents in one go.
- Specify document details like the title, ID, and the URL where it can be viewed.
Set Permissions: Ensure that the permissions field is set correctly to allow anonymous access or restrict access to specific groups.
Publish and Test:
- Once the documents are indexed, they should become searchable shortly, depending on the amount of documents.
- You can trigger manual indexing by using the /processalldocuments endpoint or use tools in the admin console to verify if documents are correctly indexed and searchable.
