Summary
Enable admins to create and manage Agent templates that can be deployed across the company, distinct from Glean-provided templates.
Problem
Duplicating Agents is clunky. Each duplicate inherits open sharing settings, leading to duplicative Agent proliferation and sprawl.
Proposed Solution
Add an admin-level “Agent Template” capability where:
- Admins can design and publish templates.
- Users can create personal Agents from these templates without inheriting broad sharing permissions.
- The UI clearly differentiates Glean-provided templates from company-created ones (e.g., via labeling, grouping, or visual hierarchy).
Impact
This would streamline company-wide Agent deployment, improve governance, and give users confidence they’re starting from vetted, organization-approved templates.
