I'm the Tableau Cloud administrator, and I'm exploring the idea of creating a custom Glean bot for our internal Slack support channel where users frequently post queries such as:
- "I’ve lost access to Tableau Cloud"
- "Who is the owner of this workbook?"
- "How can I get access to a specific dashboard?"
These questions tend to be repetitive, and I’d like to automate responses by integrating Tableau Cloud metadata with Glean.
The goal is for the bot to answer in real time—for example, verifying if a user still has Tableau Cloud access or fetching workbook ownership details and access instructions.
Has anyone implemented something similar with Glean custom bots? Would love to hear any tips or best practices!
