I'm using Glean to assist in some deep research into a new domain for me. It's gathering up a lot of internal and external sources, and providing long summarized responses. The challenge is that I'd like to be able to add notes or comments in-line as I review the responses. But I also need to open up and review the sources as I'm going.
I can convert to a canvas, but it loses the inline source references that I also need, and if I want those, then I would need to go back and forth between the chat response and the canvas.
Also, the canvas experience is more akin to editing a document than note-taking which I have a different workflow through.
So, right now I have the chats up in one window, and am taking notes in another app, which then loses the direct connection to the chat content.
I have other feedback and thoughts on using Glean for this type of task: researching and learning a new domain if someone from Glean would like to reach out sometime to walk through it.
